How to set it up in Gmail

  1. In Gmail, click the gear icon ⚙ in the top right and choose See all settings.
  2. Stay on the General tab. Scroll down to the Signature section.
  3. Click Create new. Name it picnic and confirm.
  4. Click inside the signature editor box, then paste with ⌘V (Mac) or Ctrl+V (Windows).
  5. Under Signature defaults, set both "FOR NEW EMAILS USE" and "ON REPLY/FORWARD USE" to picnic.
  6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes. Done.
Heads up: the first time you send an email, Gmail will upload your avatar to its own CDN and replace the embedded image — recipients see a hosted image, not a data URL. Send a test email to yourself to confirm it renders correctly.
